Ingredients:
3 apples
3 eggs
150 g sugar
150 g wheat flour (Type 405)
1 packet vanilla sugar
1 packet baking powder
100 ml neutral vegetable oil
100 ml milk
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
A little butter for the pan
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
1. Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until creamy. Add the oil and milk, then briefly mix in the flour and baking powder.
2. Thinly slice the apples; fold the majority into the batter and arrange the rest on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
3. Bake at 180°C for about 35–40 minutes. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
